About the project
This is not a real project, but was a mini assignment requested when I applied for an important position. It is about the financial statement of a restaurant located in Texas.
The Problem
The typical financial statements trend to be difficult to read and sometimes confusing. Since graphics helps not only to read them clearly but even take better advantage of data by representing it different ways, I was requested to work in a dashboard.
The Solution

After analyzing the data and testing different ways to represent the data. I came up with a clear and attractive dashboard that takes better advantage of the numbers.

I captured all the data in a spreadsheet and tried several formulas to verify the operations and also added several notes to understand the relationship between the numbers.

Once I understood the data I explored different ways to represent the data in order to get the most out of data.

Then I created wireframes to play with the distribution and sizes.

The final result is a mockup of a clear and attractive dashboard that takes better advantage of the numbers with a intuitive interface and scalable design to include more reports as this.
